The new Lansinoh® Silver Caps naturally soothe and protect sore nipples during breastfeeding.

The protective silver nipple shields are made of 999 fine silver and are anatomically shaped with a domed tip and curved edges. This allows air to circulate and ensures the shields lie comfortably and coolly on the nipple.

Between feedings, the feather-light silver nipple shields are worn as a physical barrier, reducing painful friction such as that caused by clothing. At the same time, they soothe sore, painful nipples and promote healing. Their effectiveness is further enhanced when combined with a drop of breast milk.

Lansinoh silver nipple shields are suitable for small and large nipples.

Instructions for use

• Wash your hands thoroughly.
• After each breastfeeding session, add a few drops of breast milk to each nipple shield (if desired) and place the silver nipple shields directly onto the nipple.
• Remove the nipple shields before breastfeeding and rinse the nipples with water before breastfeeding.
• Please do not use any other products to treat nipples while using the silver nipple shields, as this could impair the effectiveness of the silver nipple shields.

Storage instructions:

Store Lansinoh® Silver Caps in a cool, dry place. Avoid direct sunlight and heavy loads.

Care instructions:

The product is not sterile and does not require sterilization/disinfection before and/or after each use. Rinse the silver caps with water after each use and allow them to air dry. Do not clean the silver caps in the dishwasher, as this may damage the silver. The silver caps may tarnish over time due to the natural oxidation process of silver, but they remain safe and effective. The tarnish can be removed with a paste made from a teaspoon of baking soda and a few drops of water. Rub the caps with the paste, rinse, and pat dry.
