The birth of a child is one of the most significant and joyous moments in a woman's life. At the same time, it is a major challenge for the female body, from which the new mother needs to recover. The postpartum cold and warm compress alleviates common postpartum discomfort. Its great feature: it's versatile and provides relief from a wide range of postpartum ailments – sometimes chilled, sometimes warmed.

Cooling pain relief
Many women struggle with pain in the genital area after childbirth, or the wound after a cesarean section is painful, and many complain of hemorrhoids. The postpartum cold and warm compress, applied as a chilled pad, soothes such pain and reduces swelling. It is simply placed in the freezer for four hours before use and remains pliable and flexible afterward, allowing it to perfectly conform to the body's shape.

Warming relaxation
For postpartum and breastfeeding pains, it can be warmed and placed on the abdomen. This provides relief from cramping as the uterus shrinks back to its normal size after birth. The postpartum hot and cold compress is easily warmed in the microwave or in a water bath.

Application
Unless otherwise recommended by medical professionals, the compress can be used for a maximum of 20 minutes. At least one hour should pass between applications.

cleaning
After each use, the postpartum cold and warm compress should be thoroughly cleaned with mild soap and water. Please rinse thoroughly until all soap and residue are removed. The compress can be disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Allow it to air dry completely before the next use. Do not use cleaning products containing ethanol, phenol, or chlorine.
